To kickstart 2017, I wanted to make an artistic creation as many days as possible this month. These can be big or small; I'm not sure what they will be, but I'm excited to make things! Today's piece is an edit of a live taping that I did with Neda a couple months ago of Moses Lin, a talented music arranger. I met him through the Chinese Evangelical Church in San Diego a few years back. He has a knack for classical guitar and recreating popular tunes in a fresh new way. Here is his rendition of "Fire" by 3LAU.
It's not easy, but it's doable.
I like to believe that we put in an equal amount.
Happy Friday, everyone!
This week, I had a great time filming my friend, Milo B. Strong, performing his new song, Lay Me Down. I love his sweet and delicate tones, and the lyrics are smart. Not to mention, we only had to do 1 take! Milo and I will be doing a couple more videos similar to this in the near future, but for now, have a listen and enjoy.
My thoughts, writings, and experiments. Big or small. They're here.
