in her element. /
in her awestruck wonder. /
encapsulated by love. /
you can hear the thunder /
of her beating heart /
racing with excitation /
atoms and molecules collide /
while she watches this beautiful creation. /
Jan 4 creation: a poem. Feeling stuck or cornered is sometimes inevitable, but looking forward brings hope. You are capable of overcoming challenges and hardships. Keep moving forward, even if it's just a tiny step in the right direction.
All too often, people go through each day without acknowleding that there is something to be thankful for. We get so caught up in the negative forces of the world, that we overlook the positive. We might have to do a little searching, but there are good things and people out there. If we all took a moment to find something to be grateful for each day and told someone or wrote it down, I think we'll all start to be a little happier, kinder, and more appreciative of the little things in life.
If you see something beautiful in someone else, go ahead and tell them. I'm sure it will make their day.
Today, I'm thankful for my amazing friends and family who support me through the ups and downs, the trials and tribulations, the good and the bad. I'm thankful that I know that they have my back.
Shivering. Cold. Thinking of what once was that is no longer anything but a mere memory. A non-tangible object that I am struggling to grasp, hold, keep. Shaking. I thought I reached acceptance, but clearly, that was just hopeful thinking. Chattering. My teeth won't stop creating this overwhelming, loud noise that fills my whole head. I can't hear anything else but my teeth banging into one another trying to break free of this mouth that you once loved and kissed.
It's not easy, but it's doable.
I like to believe that we put in an equal amount.
My thoughts, writings, and experiments. Big or small. They're here.
