My name is Keili (sounds like KAY-lee). I'm a singer-songwriter. I have freckles and tend to smile a lot. I do my best to always look on the bright side, and when things don't go my way, I see them as growing opportunities. In my experience, this includes falling in love, falling out of love, falling in love again, getting a flat tire, and not being able to reach the top shelf.
Living in Southern California my whole life, I love to go to the beach, ride my bike, and eat tacos. I love fruit. I love when jeans fit just right or when baggy clothes bring out a new sense of freedom at the end of a long day. I think that fanny packs are one of the smartest inventions ever created. Sunglasses are a must year-round. I wear Chapstick on the daily.
I almost made it to the Olympics as a gymnast when I was a youngster, but I'm not an elegant dancer. The Sprinkler is my go-to dance move.
Self-expression is so important. I'm not one to bottle things up. Words are powerful. Words put to music is magical. And wonderful. Songs help us relate with one another and sink in the fact that we are all only human.
As humans, We are not alone. We inspire each other to keep going. We are flawed, but we are worthy. Of love. Of opportunity. Of being compassionate.
The songs that I write are about my journey in this life. The songs that I write are for me, for you, for my family and friends. Even the ones I don't know yet. To connect. To feel. To be empowered.
Thank you for stopping by and giving my tunes a listen.
